this is a counter full of “banderas”….shots we used to get from my FAVORITE gay club in el paso called “The O.P.”, which recently closed….every friday i was there with whoever wanted to go and every friday we pounded drinks during happy hour from 9-11pm…then dance til 2am….and then hit up chicos tacos or whataburger……
i’m almost 30 and i can’t fathom drinking like this anymore….it was fun back then……really, hangovers and all….

A good friend’s backpack. I feel so thankful to have such an incredible photo friend who listens to all my rambling about photography. I feel that it is really hard to find people who are so willing to be a good friend without drama. Thank you Lisa and I hope that Walker Evans book is amazing!!

…in less than two weeks i’ll be home and enjoying the southwest!….although it’s only for a short time, i know i’m going to enjoy it thoroughly….and i’ll be snapping hella pictures!…
what i will do when i’m in my hometown:

talk about being a procrastinator….my mum finally sent me my xmas presents…..but this necklace was worth the wait….a silver key with my name inscribed on it….i love it….i’m counting down the days until i make my way home….i miss you all so much!
