i need help scanning negatives with my Epson v500!
i swear, it seems like the lamest “problem” ever….but i hope someone knows the answer….
idk what setting i changed but when i scan negatives (usually two rows of 5 frames) only one box is highlighted but all the numbered boxes are checked— meaning all the checked images will be scanned….i’m trying to scan ALL my frames 5x7, but only the first frame is that size while every checked frame after that is the tiny 1inch size…..
i reset all my settings on the scanner and tried multiple ways of scanning multiple frames at the same, 5x7 size, but it’s not working….i’m resorting to scanning one frame at a time…and with 5 rolls to go, it’s going to be quite tedious…..

going through film….this is from my PopCam…..and i think it’s from the summer before i moved to seattle because my photo buddy is on this roll and so are the bins i put all my shit in to store at my mum’s house…..i think my little sis took most of the pics because there’s so many pictures of our dogs….

WELL, FUCKING HELL….
…its 11pm and past my bedtime….i’ve been scanning negatives since i got home from work….and only got halfway through because i’ve been scanning one frame at a time…this epson v500 is very picky and the automated settings are not a film’s friend….i haven’t even really been looking at the images, just trying to make sure i get everything scanned in the way i want it and then i can edit and/or delete….
i had ‘seinfeld’ playing in the background, played all of season 7….and then listened to Atmosphere…..which only reminds me i need to update my iPod….it’s time to add more hip hop to my cycle………

i took 2 rolls of film to get developed at Bartell’s in the U-District…one roll was from my Sprocket Rocket the other was my first roll in my new Diana Mini (so i was excited!)….he had made prints that i didn’t ask for and didn’t charge me—cool, right?….well this was two days ago and i was about to scan my neg’s today when i realized one canister had a roll of developed negs (from my Sprocket Rocket) and the other canister had a new roll of Fuji Superia film…i went back to Bartell’s to ask, “Where are my negatives?”…….they didn’t have them and so all i have are prints….and a new roll of Fuji film….i’m calling the store manager tomorrow….in the meantime, i scanned in my diana mini pics….they were shot half frame….
